About The Aandaal Project

The Aandaal Project is a global Tamil heritage initiative inspired by the life and poetry of Kothai — known to the world as Aandaal — whose Thiruppavai verses, composed over 1,500 years ago in Srivilliputhur, continue to inspire faith, compassion, and harmony across generations.

The Project draws from the timeless vision of Indian thought — Advaita, Vishishtadvaita, and other philosophical streams that shaped Tamil civilisation. It honours the teachers, temples, artists, and scholars who keep these living traditions alive, from the spiritual lineages of Sriperumbudur and Kancheepuram to the sacred landscapes of Srirangam and Srivilliputhur, and the cultural heart of Chennai.

Preserving this heritage means sustaining its practitioners: palliative and elder care for Gurus and Acharyas, pension and medical support for artists, recognition for writers and scholars, and conservation of sacred sites such as Veliyanadu, Kalady, and Srivilliputhur.

🪙 ANDAL Coin — What It Is, How to Book, Why It Matters

ANDAL Coin is a blockchain utility token on the Stellar network, designed as a community participation and funding instrument — not a trading token at this stage.

🏛️ UK CIC Structure — How the Asset Lock Protects Everyone

The Aandaal Project operates as a UK Community Interest Company (CIC), a legal structure specifically designed for social enterprises that serve community benefit.

Key protections for supporters:

  • Asset Lock: Core assets cannot be transferred except to named Asset Lock Bodies (ALBs) — registered charities that guarantee the project's purpose survives any change of management.
  • Profit cap: Maximum 35% of surpluses can be distributed to shareholders; 65% must be reinvested for community benefit (artists, heritage, environment, elder care).
  • Annual CIC Report: Filed with Companies House each year; publicly accessible.
  • Indian operating entity: On-ground campus delivery in Chennai will be managed by a Section 8 (non-profit) company under documented agreements with the UK CIC.

    • Medical access — diagnostics, procedures, follow-up care through local partners

    • Long-term vision: a network of palliative care facilities near key heritage and spiritual centres

    A Seva Partner is anyone who chooses to walk with the Aandaal Project by offering time, skills or goodwill — not just money. You might be a student, a working professional, an artist, a teacher, a technologist, or simply someone who cares about heritage and elders.

Informational content, governance documents, and blog articles are hosted on andal.io (name.com shared hosting). Interactive features that handle personal data — coin bookings, login accounts, artist profiles, vendor registrations and Seva sign-ups — are hosted on the project's own NGINX-protected server at api.paybook.club, which provides the CORS isolation and security required for user account data. Both domains are operated by the same organisation. Navigation from any api.paybook.club page returns you to andal.io via the logo link.
